Other day my friend was telling me that she has a stalker now . This gora guy went out with her like only twice and one time I was there too . But now he is full time after her . Where ever she goes he is after her . Unfortunately she also have few classes with him too . So that she can't help . But he calls her , text her weird stuff , comes over to her house when she is not there , in the mall , after the class all the time with that look in his eyes . He is everywhere . She was so scared that even when she was telling me this story she was still looking around . Poor girl .

I think now she contacted local police and authorities on campus but its a scary situation as he might end up hurting her . Yea that dangerous these freaks can be . So girls if you been into this kind of situation then what you did ? Please share your thoughts . Experiences .

I guess a restraining order cant hurt. But...think about it. Its a piece of paper. Yes, the dude would be arrested for violating the order but be out likely within a few hours. AND have all of her details (full name, address, phone number etc). A piece of paper isnt much protection against an obsessed wierdo.

Sure, get the order. But...Carry mace or ammonia. And get a "big brother" to explain that if likes his malehood and wants to keep it then he has to go AWAY.

Get the police involved. Get a restraining order. Tell the campus police. Tell her family. Nothing else can be done legally.

Illegally he can be found floating on a lake.

Also Namaan there is no such thing as too pretty. Take the time walking her home to get in her good books. Take her out to dinner and then boom you are good to go.

Vulnerable is simply an opportunity waiting to be used

She just did that yesterday and guy was totally stunned and couldn't say a word . She was quite happy about it . Hopefully it will work out for her . :)

I had a stalker in college too. I had campus security and eventually police involved to no avail…the guy still creepily followed me around to the point that I carried a spray bottle of ammonia with me. The only thing that got thru to him was my 6-foot-3 brother. He threw the guy up against a wall and told him never to go near me, never look at me, never follow me ever again. If he sees me then turn around and run the other way. Or else I’ll cut off your (you-know-what) and shove it down your throat. He never bothered me again.

He became increasingly stalkerish, texting and calling at all hours, following me around campus so that he could try and catch me alone etc etc. I realised that he never approached me if I wasn’t alone, so I made sure someone was with me all the time. This worked but it wasn’t fair, I had the right to walk around campus on my own without the fear of some idiot following me/harassing me.

So one day I approached him (he was stunned as well), sat him down and explained to him how uncomfortable he was making me feel, how I would report him if his behaviour continued and how I knew people who would “sort him out” if he continued the way he did. It’s actually worked so far…no more texts, no more phone calls, nothing. I was quite proud of myself actually, dealing with the situation on my own
Hopefully it works for your friend, these guys deserve a swift kick where the sun don’t shine

It's not just a piece of paper, it goes down in the person's record. The cops keep tabs on that person and have their personal information (phone/address). Additionally it protects you from any false allegations. For example, a friend of mine was once physically attacked by a crazy chinese girl coz she was obsessed with him and he wasn't reciprocating. After the attack (she scratched his arms off), he ran to the police station, filed a report and got a restraining order since he didn't want her to to make up some silly allegations against him and get him into trouble. It's best to make a preemptive move against such lunatics before they pull some crazy $hit and get you into some legal mess.
