Altaf (ur) Bhai is a politician from Pakistan who has i think 19 members in the parliament and i guess they are part of the Pakistan government also !!!! Now you claim that he is what he is .... i guess you should "enlighten" people in Pakistan as to what he is saying ... they don't seem to know that otherwise why would his party win so many seats !!!!!!!! or you are trying to say there are people in Pakistan who agree with him :D
He seems to be more powefull then Laloo is in India .... purely going by the number of "elected" representatives he has !!!!

Muttiah Muralitharan has questioned whether the terrorists who perpetrated Tuesday’s attack on the Sri Lankans had received inside information as to the team’s movements. In a chilling account of the Lahore shootout, Murali said the precise timing of the attack suggested the terrorists could have been tipped off about timing and security arrangements.
In my opinion, we all get influenced by American TV and movies where they show security arrangements to be so slick and security personnel such highly educated trained 007 types.
Reality is, and I will only generalize based on what I have seen of Indian policemen, securoty personnel or far from that. They are a bit better of than villagers handed a weapon and given some training - many of them cannot even run carrying their own pot belly.
I am sure commandos and military personnel are better than these havildar Tukarams but I just don't think there is anything, any amount of planning, that can really stop a determined set of well armed terrorists who don't care if they die in the process.
The way I look at it, the Indian security is even more lapse to let Mumbai attack happen because it actually let people from abroad sneak in to do that.
We have to thank God Almighty that none of the Srilankan players were killed but not overlook the fact that several policemen and a driver were killed for no fault of theirs. They have families too...imagine how they are feeling.

in Ndtv yesterday Imran Khan said, recently punjab came under governors rule and the governor has changer the police officers to protect his interest and in the process Srilankan team or cricket security was effected, and terrorist took advantage of that.

You are not going to believe an Indian anyways ;) so better to ask your govt why they are hesitant to take FBI help. It seems mighty suspicious to me. Plus there havent been any quotes so far about "non-state" actors being involved :p
FBI investigates almost every death involving an American … so from time to time they visit Pakistan in this connection. Even after 9/11 … since it was realated to American deaths … they did some investagations in Pakistan. As we speak … there is a FBI team in Pakistan for the Mumbai attack and FBI is also investigating the disapperance of UN Solecki
