Presentation:Sangakkara: There is nothing that I can say, but these two batsmen were unbelievable. We knew that Angelo is the greatest asset that we have in our side, he can bat, bowl and field well as well. We will enjoy this win but a lot of hard work lies ahead of us before we go to Sydney.
Angelo Mathews: Credit to Malinga, he was batting beautifully. Putting up such a performance against the Aussies is pleasing.Angelo Mathews is the Man of the Match for his match winning knock of 77 runs.
Clarke: Tough day at the office this, as you said they were 8/107 and I didn’t know how we managed to lose this 
. Full credit to SL, Mathews and Malinga were unstoppable. All the boys are disappointed, it hurts when you can’t win close games, we can look at the positives from this game. It shows us that a team can win from any position.
We have witnessed one of the most thrilling encounters in ODI cricket. The Sri Lankan innings was a complete roller coaster ride. With Sanga going strong it looked like SL will put this off easily but the Aussies bounced back reducing SL from 73/2 to 86/6. The two M’s - Mathews and Malinga - took the game away from the Aussies with some powerful and fearless hitting. They put on a 122 run partnership for the 9th wicket which is the highest in the history of ODIs. The look of the face of the Aussies says the whole story, 
they were at touching distance from a massive win but a miracle of sorts by the Sri Lankan lower order denied it.
44.2 Watson to Muralitharan, FOUR!!, those are the winning runs, and guess from whose bat it comes? Yes it is the legend of Muralitharan who has scored the winning runs! It was a poor delivery, too full and angling into the pads, Muralitharan flicked that away beautifully past short fine leg and there was no stopping that!
43.4 Clarke to Malinga, out Malinga Run Out!! Dabs it to cover and sets off for the single, he stopped half way down the pitch for some strange reason, brilliant composure from Smith, picked the ball up and hit the stumps BINGO at the bowler’s end and Malinga wasn’t even in the picture. Nope it was more then Razzaq brother, *122 run partnership for the 9th wicket which is the highest in the history of ODIs. *

Just wonderful fight from SL. their 9th and 10th batsmen turned the table on Aus.
SL are SERIOUS contenders for 2011 wc.

Matthews was awesome.. he's one of the BEST young players at the moment.. does not get enough exposure.. Johnson ko kya pita.. CHAL TERI MITCHH..

seriously waleed.. i just watched the highlights and he really did play amazing shots... all of them.. in big aussie grounds..
pup is a bakvaas captain and so was punter... punter won ony cuz he had legends in his team... it was as easy as to throw the ball to warne or mcgrath.. now that he doent hav the same talent he struggles and makes dumb moves.. gets a lot of criticism from australia itself!
i think michael hussey would have been a better captain than both pup and punter

Yeah i know about punter he got gilly hayden warne mcgrath thats why he was successful otherwise he would have been like Pup too
well they were grooming pup from years now thats why they kept him as captain
