Absolute rubbish!! **fuller delivery and Sangakkara gets an inside edge, the ball goes towards the keeper, Tharanga wanted a single, he was almost down at the other end, Haddin threw the ball back to Clarke who was backing up at the bowler’s end, Watto was standing in front of the stumps, the Batsman had given up already and What does Clarke do? Decides to throw the ball on the stumps instead of walking towards it and flicking the bails, hits Watto instead of hitting the stumps, poor poor stuff from the Aussies, Ponting can’t believe it! Clarke is stunned, Tharanga reaches safely

22.3 Muralitharan to Michael Hussey, out Caught by Mathews!! the sorry tale continues for the Aussies, not sure what Michael Hussey was upto, he danced down the track and chipped it straight to long off, he had to move a couple of steps forward, bends down nicely and judges it to perfection, it’s curtains now for the Aussies. Oh wait a minute, I would not want to tell that right away, especially after seeing the first ODI, but it all looks well set for the Lankans to win the series here at the SCG.

No mercy shown by the Lankans as they win the game by the Duckworth/Lewis Method by 29 runs and they** take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series**. The rain did help them but their bowlers were clinical and managed to take all ten wickets of the Aussies who yet again looked off colour. Once Clarke and Hussey fell, it was too much for the lower and the middle order to handle. With the World Cup round the corner, the Aussies have a lot of homework to do, while the Lankans would savour every moment of this historic win down under.

good job lankans.. great performnce again.. they are shaping up really well for the WC.. malinga gets better everyday !! in tharanga they have found the perfect partner for explosive dilshan.. *****v is turning out to be a very smart spinner for limited over games.. angelo is one of the best all rounders right now and he's so young still.. sanga and jaya are both class batters in the middle..
the indians and the lankans have beaten the sht out of AUS int he last month.. this is a really good opportunity for england to score some test wins down under..

I jst watched the highlights of the first one..am still catching up..but WOW!!! What a game fantastic and wicked game that was!!! I can’t believe that Malinga did what he did poor kangaroos

Dude u forgot to add Pakistanis also beat the hell out of Aussies in the last match they played when they bundled out AUssies for just 88 :D

Not many times do you see teams seemingly dead and buried at 8 down for 100 odd runs successfully going on to chase 240. That was one hell of a fight-back by Mathews and Malinga
This is exactly what Gilchrist and Symonds etc. used to do to other teams. LOL

Sri-lanka is by far my favorite team…among all sub-continental teams, sri-lanka is way ahead in terms of professional attitude and mental strength…..I wonder why…..their fielding has always been superb...moreover, you hardly see a sudden collapse in their batting line up that is typical of Pakistani and Indian teams…..and like I said they are mentally very strong as is evidenced by their superb record of chasing big scores…and more importantly they chase scores in a very calm manner....now that they have a very aggressive leader who like to lead by example, they have a very good chance of winning the world-cup.
