It seems Waqar has done the home work nicely. Short balls to Sanga

5.30 pm And that is the end of play today. Silva does his job. Sri Lanka have had just the right kind of start after they gave away 450 runs to the opposition. It hasn't been an easy stay with a surprising number of edges evading the fielders, but Sri Lanka wouldn't mind. Silva has survived a torrid time and he is still there. More importantly, Sanga, after an initial period of being circumspect, has opened up and is looking every bit the batsman he is. Still, it has been Pakistan's day overall. They added almost 200 runs to their overnight score and have managed to put Sri Lanka under pressure.
Pakistan have done well in this test so far but I think it will be a draw. The spinners (Ajmal and Rehman) should come into play on days 4 & 5 but Pakistan's seam/pace bowling is weak. Junaid is not more than a decent bowler and Talha lacks wicket-taking ability. They will struggle to take 20 wickets in a test with the current attack anywhere in the world let alone in Lanka.
Morning session would be the key tomorrow. And it goes without saying that Matthews, Sanga and Jaya are the three most important wickets.
