spouse visa or visit visa for UK

Good luck with it! Yep like you said it's been submitted and I hope you and your wife all the best with it. Did you apply on the 10th? Few days before us actually! When it's forwarded to OC it's basically going through the system which takes about 2 weeks or so and then it will change to under processing at the BHC. That's when it will be looked at and processing start. Three weeks down so about nine to go. It will soon pass. I am counting down!

he has lost his job during his visit to pk....now i dont knw wat to do ....i have emailed to ukba but they said i have to take advise from any local consultant .....i dont knw whom to consult...aby suggestions ?????
p.s...my husband's behaviour is annoying...he is not supporting at all :-( :-( :-( :-(

Sorry to hear the position you're in. It can't be easy for you. To be honest the rules are pretty inflexible unfortunately. Can u possibly get the required savings together as an alternative? For satisfying the financial requirement with a job it must be ongoing ie be in employment at the point of application as well as showing he's already at the required level. I hope you find a solution soon. Do be careful with immigration consultants promising visa without meeting the requirements others and I have mentioned. They may just be exploiting your position to make money and really there isn't much flexibility in all this. Until you can meet the requirements there's little point in making an application as it just won't be successful. Good luck to you.

thanks Fatima...his financial position is good...he owns apartment have a pretty big amount in banks....but job issue :-(
talked to few immigirants but they asked for money just for a visit to office.dats y i didnt go there

Re: spouse visa or visit visa for UK

I am sorry to hear that. It must be soo stressful for you. UKBA post all their info on their website so trawl through that. And as fatimah said above they are very inflexible so if you dnt meet their requirements no point in giving the applications. i hope someone more knowledgeable can help out.

thanks hammna...i have already emailed UkBA... but they directed me towards consultants

Re: spouse visa or visit visa for UK

Hmmna means that all the UKBA rules and regulations are on the website. There is nothing a consultant can do for you except inform you of those and make them clear for you… basically it’s a job you can do yourself.

At the time of application the sponsor either has to:
(1) Be employed and have been employed with that same employer for at least the last 6 months with a minimum gross yearly income of £18,600
(2) If you have absolutely no income, you need savings of £62,500. The amount of savings required reduces depending on how much you earn if it is below £18,600

This document contains the immigration directorate instructions and is what the entry clearance officer would use to determine whether the sponsor meets the financial requirements. An immigration consultant would also use this to advise you.

Page 37 shows the amount of savings needed if the income level is too low.

He needs to get a job asap and then you would have to wait 6 months before applying… to be honest I have to say it sounds a bit strange that he’s now saying he lost it while he was in Pak… are you sure he ever had a job? Do you know him and his family very well?

yes Stoppit he had job at that time and my family confirmed dat from his company before nikah....but yes its strange he lost his job after all that.....i m thinking to apply for student visa...what do u suggest ????

  1. says if he doesnt have job …amount of 62000£ can b considered…is this applies to my situation ?
