Why would Imam Ali (a.s.) do taqiyyah? He was the khalifa of the time...He was the most powerful person in the world...do you forget he won all the battles for Islam? and let me refresh ur memory...he still won this war against aisha as well...his followers however can perform taqiyyah to save their lives...who would do taqiyyah? a person who is killing or the person who is getting killed?
