lolz, but pashtun becharay ki zindigiā¦
āOf the victims of violence, around 75 percent were Pashtuns who had nothing to do with armed gangs or ANP but were killed only for basis of ethnicityā -
āHospitals, schools and roads are now segregated on ethnic grounds and people are reluctant to go to the neighbourhoods where rival ethnic groups liveā -
Migration of Pashtuns from the northwest to Karachi began during Ayub Khanās regime, when the economic boom created new jobs, especially in the construction, textile and transport sectors. The hardworking Pashtuns were ready to take the low-wage jobs that the locals did not want. The Pashtun contributed significantly to the economy of Karachi through labour and small trade -

Re: [Split discussion] Punjab vs rest
Oh Bhai mere! If someone non-Urdu speaking get killed in Karachi it doesnāt mean that he was killed by an Urdu speaking person. Its like saying that MQM only kills non-Urdu speaking people.
Again ground realities are different and there are no such tandoor walas as you believe ![]()

Re: [Split discussion] Punjab vs rest
Speaking of Shahid Afridi. The Afridi family is heavily armed in accordance to their tribal tradition, in case you donāt know. Iāve heard directly from some their family members saying in person how MQM goons donāt dare harass the Afridi family as they are so intimidated by them. They know if they kill one brother - the entire family, the whole of Kohat/Khyber Agency will come to Karachi to take revenge. The racists usually target the vulnerable, not a massive and popular tribal family armed to teeth.
PS. Afridi now lives in Malir Cantt - a gated and supposedly military area.
Re: [Split discussion] Punjab vs rest
shabash mere bhai. Iām a Sindhi living near 90 for more than 7 years and still you want me believe this bullsh!t propaganda. Yes, Pashtun children and people get killed in violence, but ethnic hatred is not only the reason. Its because their vulnerability because of their location. The columnist himself refers Pashtun as labor class and when there is a violence at a place, labor class get most burnt of it.
If this columnist researched the places where most of Pashtun deaths happened, he might realised that it was mostly in Pashtun majority areas like Sohrab Goth, Sultanabad, Banaras, etc.
As far as AP uncle is concerned, at least he doesnāt come up with fake stories like Tandoor wala. So no problem to be his shagird (just for a change). ![]()
Re: [Split discussion] Punjab vs rest
btw, it is called munafiqat when you give lectures to others while doing that same thing.
when this is happening why ethnic divide cannot happen at tandoor wala? Interesting, when facts go against you they are bs.
Hospitals, schools and roads are now segregated on ethnic grounds and people are reluctant to go to the neighbourhoods where rival ethnic groups live
Re: [Split discussion] Punjab vs rest
oh ya. I being Sindhi canāt live in Urdu speaking majority area of Karachi ![]()
Its not my munafiqat, its your dhitai that you want to only highlight ethnic hatred for reason of violence in Karachi leaving aside major issues like sectarian killings, extortion, ransom, etc.
Re: [Split discussion] Punjab vs rest
@ajazali Stop spreading lies. Karachi is nothing like you are trying to portray.
Yes there are segregated areas in Karachi just like any other city of Pakistan or just like any other metropolitan city of the world. In rest of the areas, different ethnic groups not only live together but also mingle together.
Yes there are times when there is a sense of tension in the air due to some specific incident but that gets wipe off soon and average citizen go about their business like any other day. Sometimes people avoid going to some specific area just because of criminals in that area and not coz they are afraid of average citizens in that area.
People from different ethnic groups invite each other in their dukh-sukh just like any other place in Pakistan. We send sweets and iftari to each otherās houses without trying to find out the ethnicity of neighbors just like in any other city of Pakistan and yes there are tonz of inter-ethnic marriages.
You are entitled to your tunnel vision all you want but stop spreading it.
Re: [Split discussion] Punjab vs rest
MQM kills itās own peopleā¦
Re: [Split discussion] Punjab vs rest
Creating a new province doesnt mean you are creating divisions. US, India all have many provinces. More provinces = better administration.
Re: change the route of the Pakistan-China Economic Corridor.
LOL. Which Karachi are you talking about? Karachi is multi ethnic. Tandoor walas, fruit walas, shopkeepersare mostly pathan and I never saw a rift between the general awam.
And LOL @ the tandoor example. Tandoors are mostly own by pathans, why would they give priority to urdu speaking people? More over, they give rotis according to FIFO basis. So please.
