over 60% of afghanistan is pashtu speaking and a further 5-10% of pashtuns have adopted persian. pashtun cutlure is very dfferent from punjabi and sindhi culture. you should surely know that. i guess you have nt been to nwfp. language, customs, traditions are very different.
Actually, speaking of Ahmadis… Some of the worst persecution of Ahmadis has occured in NWFP… Its the oppressed oppressing the oppressed… And for the most part, majority of Pathans probably support the persecution in one way or another.

i have nothing againts ahmadis but muslims are muslims and ahmadis ae not muslims. if they accept that then all is fair and square. although controls should be made to make sure they do not ove rinfluence the state policy which many peopel accuse them of doing so. their influence otweighs their numbers

i do not believe anyone should be persecuted but some bring it on themselves. if ahmadis accpeted that they were then they would not be liable to persecution. it is sad that people persecute others be that on grounds of race, religion, sect, language, skin colour, disablity, sexuality, gender .
