Reiki is a way of combining different powers to concentrate it at one point and use that power for healing. Human mind it very powerful. and through practice one can use these powers for the betterment of mankind.
For example, Reiki experts can cure various illnesses by using mind power, like Arthritis, heart problems any many other illnesses

reiki actually work on chakras of our body
we have seven chakras
crown chakra

throat chakra

We are alive because the life force is flowing through us. Life force flows through pathways called Chakras[energy centers in the aura] meridians and nadis. Life force nourishes the organs and cells of the body, supporting them in their vital functions. When this flow of life force is disrupted, it causes diminished function in one or more of the organs and tissues of the physical body. Reiki heals by flowing through the affected parts of the energy field and charging them with positive energy. It raises the vibratory level of the energy field in and around the physical body where the negative thoughts and feelings are attached. This causes the negative energy to break apart and fall away. Reiki clears straightens and heals the energy channels thus allowing the life force to flow in a healthy and natural way.
Everything in our universe is made up entirely of energy. Light is energy, our emotions are energy, our thoughts are energy, and even our physical bodies and the physical world surrounding us are energy. When we keep that in mind it will be easier to understand how the healing energy of Reiki works. Our body is not only the physical body that we observe; we are made of energy and the physical body is the part of us that we can see. We are not a physical body that also has an energy field around and inside it; we are beings of energy, with energy fields that we normally can not see, and a physical body (a dense form of energy) as a part of the whole body. Besides the energy that we obtain through eating, drinking and breathing, we also obtain energy through are energy fields.
Reiki works on the energetic level. Most healing methods nowadays work only on the physical level, but Reiki works on the physical, emotional and spiritual levels. Our body is a complex system with different levels interacting with each other. If a treatment is done that only works on one level, the healing is not complete. True healing must be done at all levels, and that is what Reiki does. If healing is only done on the physical level temporary results can be obtained, but the underlying cause is not treated. Reiki balances on all levels where our energy flows are blocked. Reiki helps to release underlying thoughts and emotions that caused the disease, and it heals the physical symptoms of the disease.

for example cancer,hypatisis B and c , madness ,sleeping problem etc..

Anyway, I just came to know about reiki through a friend who briefed me about this science and how it works, and I attended a lecture with him too 
I completely agree that reiki is an alternate way of healing illnesses and body disorders… :k:

Spirituality is of two types
1.with ALLAH
2.with humans
i think when we love or like someone after a deep relation that may not be very long and apperent(meeting) is spirituality that when you have a contact with your client
without any physical or face to face relation
and with Allah or hamans we can not learn it by teachings it comes from our inner spiritual experiences.

I’m a Reiki practioner too. I learnt it 8 years ago, and have been practising it on and off since then. I’ve had some very positive experiences with it.
Before learning Reiki, I used to have an assortment of illnesses, and also used to be a very angry person. Had no peace of mind. After my Reiki initiation (often called “Reiki attunement”), my health became excellent, and I became a very calm and peaceful person. My positive experiences inspired several of my friends to learn Reiki themselves. I have also been able to physically help others through it.

Names of 1st to 4th and 7th chakra are correct but there seems to be some mix up in the names of 5th and 6th chakras. A Reiki Master is expected to know the correct names, which are as follows:
crown chakra
third eye chakra (also called “Brow” chakra)
throat chakra
heart chakra
Solar Plexus - This chakra is also called Naval or Abdominal chakra
Sacral chakra - It is also called Splenic or Hara chakra
root chakra

According to a careful estimate by top Reiki Masters of the world, the world has over 200,000 Reiki Masters and over 800,000 Reiki practitioners of first and second degrees. Dozens of books have been written on Reiki in different languages. I have read at least six of them. USA, Canada, Britain and Japan have Reiki schools, which run hundreds of classes every year. William Rand, the owner of reiki.org alone runs over 400 Reiki classes every year in his Reiki institute called, “International Center for Reiki Training”.
In Pakistan, we have many Reiki teacher. According to my information, there are at least 10 in Karachi, nearly same number in Rawalpindi/Islamabad and Lahore. Hyderabad, Quetta, Multan, Okara, Faisalabad, Peshawar have at least one teacher each. There may be many more, I do not know.
Now if you compare where we stand in the field of Reiki, you will see that we do not have even one hundred Reiki teacher in Pakistan. This is due to our lack of interest and knowledge about Reiki. I would even call it ignorance. We still tend to call it “Fraudiyeee”. How sad!

I would like to clarify the concept of healing by Reiki practitioners. Let this be very clear that no Reiki healer or a doctor of any field can cure any human being. The cure comes only from God. All of the healing systems are only a tool in our hands to work the will of God. If a doctor could cure, no body would die, or at least the doctor himself and his family would not die but this does not happen.
Like other healing systems, Reiki is also a healing system that does not and cannot guarantee any cure. When the time comes, Reiki or no Reiki, treatment or no treatment, the person will die. The basic purpose of any healing system is to improve the quality of life. No system can prolong anyone's life.
As it happens in other healing systems like allopathy, homeopathy, etc. etc., people do get cured by Reiki treatment. It certainly has the capability to treat any disease, from the most minor to the most serious but then who gets cured is not in the control of the physician/practitioner. If a person is destined to get cured, he/she will, otherwise not.
Having said all that, Reiki has its own unique advantages. Since no medicine, massage, rubbing, pulling or pressing etc. is involved, it has absolutely no harmful side effects. Reiki works its own way. If a patient gets cured, the credit does not go to the Reiki practitioner and similarly if someone does not, the blame does not to go to him/her.
While a lot more can be said about Reiki, I shall leave it here for now with the hope that one day Reiki will become well known in Pakistan also.

I would like to add something which I feel Hopeful forgot to mention:
Reiki practitioners believe that ALL diseases have roots in the thoughts and emotions of the person, i.e., they are psychosomatic in nature. “Modern medicine” treats only the symptoms of the illness, with the result that the root causes remain, and thus the ailment can return sometime in the future. On the other hand, Reiki heals a person at ALL levels - physical (symptomatic), emotional and mental. The result is that once cured by Reiki, the ailment does not return (unless the person again falls into the same mental-emotional pattern as before).
