Re: spirituality

Thank you Rohit!

What you have written comes under the heading, "What Reiki can do" or " benefits of Reiki". I had intentionally not touched this aspect. First let the people understand and believe that Reiki is really something useful. Many of them do not find it easy to digest that if no medicine, massage, rubbing, pulling or pressing etc. is involved, then how can the healing take place. This is a world of proofs. People want to believe only when they see something with their physical eyes. They don't want to believe something which cannot be weighed or measured. This is why people tend to believe more in allopathy than systems like color therapy and acupressure etc. It is not only that Reiki heals at physical, emotional and mental levels, it heals at the spiritual level as well. To understand all this, one has to step away from materialism and enter the realm of metaphysics.

It is not only that Reiki practitioners believe that roots of the diseases are in the emotions of the persons. This is an undeniable fact. When a person hears of a sudden bad news, it affects his/her body system right away. In some people diarrhea is the result, in some the blood pressure rises, in some cases the blood pressure falls tremendously low to the extent that even their heart fails. All of us have heard of cases where a person died on hearing a shocking news. A person who always remains tense is likely to develop heart troubles, and so on. There can be many other examples.

Reiki works at the very fundamental level. It is ideal where cause of the disease is not known. As soon as the healer places his/her hands to do Reiki, it automatically starts flowing and goes to the point/area of the body where it is needed the most. It is the universal energy that flows through the healer, not healer's own energy. The healer cannot tell the energy where to go and where not to go. Reiki works its own way in the best interest of the recipient, whatever it may mean to him/her.

Again I shall leave it here because even if I keep writing the whole night, the topic will not finish. Anyone interested in more information can search internet. There are over 450 Reiki-related sites, which provide lot of information. You have already given a reference to two such sites in your post dated 8 July.

Re: spirituality

I call them Fraudiye coz they cannot CURE the diseases…

If they did they its very easy to prove that they can.

HOW:

Take two groups of people with same disease for example Hepatitis C or B.
Give one group the usual allopathic treatment and give the second group Reikis.

Check the viral levels in blood at 1,3 and 6 months and compare the results.

Similar studies can be done for almost all diseases.

Let me know when u have such an “OBJECTIVE” evidence that Reiki works.

Till then i keep on calling them FRAUDIYE

Re: spirituality

Keep calling them what you like. That is your choice but reality is reality. Believing or not believing something is a personal matter. Realities do not change by someone believing or not believing in them. If someone does not understand something or does not have sufficient knowledge about a particular system, that does not mean that the system is wrong or it does not exist.

I believe that apart from nearly a dozen Reiki Masters in Karachi, there are hundreds of Reiki practitioners of First and Second degrees. You could fix it up with someone and try it yourself but before you do that, read my posts again and be clear how healing takes place. I very clearly said that it is not the doctor or Reiki practitioner who cures a disease.

I generally do not discuss anyone’s belief in Reiki or anything else. Everyone has the right to have any opinion or belief. Who believes what is not my problem. Hereafter, I can answer any question about Reiki but shall not be inclined to discuss anyone’s belief or disbelief in Reiki.

Re: spirituality

See dear!

If Reiki works, then there are very easy ways to prove that it works, why are the Reiki people then not testing the eficacy of their system objectively?

There are hundreds of Aamils also in Pakistan and thousands of whichmasters.Existence of a system does not prove it works

Re: spirituality

Reiki is neither a magic nor it has any thing to do with any religion. Aamils and Witch masters are different; their systems are different. Reiki is simply the “Universal Life Force Energy”, which is present in everything. Human beings only use this energy; they do not create or control it. They act only as a medium for transfer of this energy. How much of energy is drawn by a recipient is beyond their control. Similarly, how much benefit will be drawn by the recipient is also not in their control. Unlike “Aamils and Witch masters”, anyone can learn and use Reiki at any age. It is so simple.

Re: spirituality

Further to my last post:

Unlike the systems of "Aamils and Witch masters", learning Reiki does not require any hard work. It simply requires a living Reiki teacher to transfer the ability through the process of attunement, which takes less than half an hour. Passing on the theoretical knowledge may take more time, which can be gained later through books etc.

I perhaps forgot to mention that Reiki is neither practitioner's own energy nor he/she creates it from somewhere. The energy is already present in him/her and the recipient. The practitioner only acts as a channel (or a conduit) through whom the flow of energy takes place. He/She does not have to fetch it from somewhere or do some sort of jugglery to make it flow and work. It is probably the simplest healing system ever known to the mankind.
