I only feel guilty when I get disappointed.

For me - skincare is everything. I want my skin to be in good condition so no guilt there at all.

For cosmetics, I do some serious research before buying anything high end so I don’t feel bad about it later.

I always try the ‘sample sized’ products first; if it’s to my liking and only then I will go back and purchase a full sized bottle

Having said that ONLY buy what you need, and now I have a pretty good idea what will work what wouldn’t. Sephora is pretty accomdating in terms of the products, you can pretty much try almost anything in the store before buying and their return policy is pretty good too.

Only time I have been disappointed is when I was doing my wedding shopping and being running around having not much time so splurged and bought a bottle of Guerlain foundation the one with rose water in it (I believe it’s discontinued now) It gave me horrible itch all over my face, and of course it was such a waste because I got caught up with so many other preps that never went and returned it, It’s been almost 7 years but that splurging still haunts me till this day

We don’t get any samples here in Dubai, I go crazy at Sephora/Paris Gallery too! …and MAC! I don’t regret any purchases though and I usually know what I want but then, sigh impulse buying happens!
