i think you have not read comments on twitter from sahafis, journalists, anchors, common people, politicians,and many other…they are insulting him and i am fine with criticism..but the issue is we are in the middle of the WC…is this the time for waqar to come and apologize publicly that i messed it up…wouldnt it effect the team dynamics? he and misbah have learnt the lesson…
we shd move on.

If Pakistan somehow doesnt make it to QF due to NRR then wait for media and public when he goes back home.

and god forbidden what if sarfraz fails in next 4 matches…drops few catches..then what? waqar shd then come out and say “hey guys, see what did i tell you?”
this is cricket…anything can happen…the most important thing is to have a strategy. and if the strategy is to have sarfraz as an opener and keeper then he shd play the hole WC even if he fails in some matches.

At 41:13 puts classless Yahya (Anil Kumble ka bichra hua bhai!) in his place.
Yes everyone knows that nepotism and corruption are the two main ills of our society but to give everything (it was a poor decision by the team management to not play Sarfraz in the earlier games for sure) an ethnic tag (a trait of many desis) is not only disappointing but also disgusting.

Wtched the press conference and its not true. He answered him apporpriately and when Yahya started giving it a political angle and getting personal Younis said that question was stupid and wrapped up the conference.
Some people on other forums saying that he stormed out of conference but the truth is after 42 minutes it was time to close it and he did exactly that

What an amazing match! Pak should keep that momentum. Good decision to take sarfraz back into the team..And one thing we learn is agar if we dont loose wickets in the beginning…our team stabilizes..
