So now not only do the bowlers have to take wickets but it looks like they'll have to do the bulk of the batting too if Pakistan hope to make anything of this game.

Go easy on Akmal. He's scored the second or third highest in the innings so far. As usually Younis/Yousuf, the best. I dont know why the others come out to bat, just let those two play and add on another 40 or 50 runs and you'll have about the right score.

^ he had opted out of field when SAffies were batting, so when Pakistan batting started he had to spend same time out of Pakistani inning.

Wow, talk about irresponsible batting and losing your head. Kamran and Younis did very well to get us the lead but man, did they ever screw up in the end. Total loss of momentum. It's up to the Big Man and his tail-enders to give us a shot. Still, a totally inept batting performance.

I would call it honours even. If we were 4 down, we would have our noses in front but now its different.

However, as for akmal, he made almost the same as boucher on this wicket with less balls used.
Boucher 35 from 79 faced
Akmal 33 from 67 faced
And overall our batsmen made higher scores in the 30s and 40s compared to saffies 20s and 30s .
So I think the day belonged to the Pacers.
It seems this is a fast pitch tilted towards bowling. Good that we have both Actor and Asif striking.
Now, for tomorrow Inzi should play a quick fire 50 rather than a slow dot dot 20 odd....
after he gets a quick 50 , he should start grafting. IMHO.
All in all the day belonged to the bowling attacks of both sides!
