Well he had 1 and half minute before Yousuf got out thats why Akmal was sent in. If Yousuf had gotten out after a minute and half than he could have come out. And the reason for all this is because he had to wait for an hour.

The benefit of doubt is supposed to favor the basman. there were 3 clear doubts in Yousuf's dismissal,
(a) probably hit outside the off stump
(b) height (even with hawkeye it baily clipped the top the stumps
(c) inside edge
and Doctrove could not give ONE of these doubts to Yousuf.

For those of you asking about where Inzamam is, well he was off the field for much of South Africa's innings so couldn't bat until that amount of time had elapsed in Pakistan's innings. When Yousuf fell, the innings was one and a half minutes short of the mark, so Inzi has to wait until the fifth wicket falls.

Pakistan need to get a first innings lead of 120-150 because remember we are batting last. If we don't and SA amass 350-400 in the second innings with a little help from Doctrove, the pressure will be back on our batsmen and with SA going all out for a series victory we might crumble.
So plz plz our remaining batsmen don't spoil all the good work of our bowlers :D
