I would love to see their “fast” pitches. So far what I’ve is complete flat and dead ones and as said earlier, indian bowlers were putting 5 out of 6 balls in a over in almost two bounces.

And one can easily guess the quality of SA batsmen when Suresh Raina is bowling like top tier bowler.

Come on Sid. I was clearly speaking about the third Test. Anyway it is good to give credit where credit is due. At least I follow that. I am least bothered if the team that did well is India or Pakistan. I root for both teams to do well.

Where are you inviting?

I’ve already given credit. I just indicated the shortcomings of SA team and environment as compared with previous eras.

You gotto admit, that the overall standard of cricket is deteriorated. Especially the class of bowlers is way down.

did you see the highlights of the whole series ? for all 3 test matches, pitches were extremely bouncy. that is a fact. 2nd test match and then 3rd test match, wickets were so bouncy and awkward that michael holding had to say many times that these wickets are not fair to batsmen but indian managed well or much better than south africans expected and then won the 3rd test match comprehensively on a pitch which was so bad that south africans wanted to abandon but indians refused. and a full strength SA test squad played all 3 test matches

ODI pitches were also typical SA pitches with bounce…just because SA could not understand indian finger spinners didn’t mean that those tracks were spin tracks. they were not. I saw highlights of every game. and full SA team played pretty much all ODIs. morkel, philander, rabada, amla, AB, quinton de kock, duminy, imran tahir all played. now if this is not a complete SA team, i dont know which squad will be. AB didnt play first 3 ODIs but when he returned, result was still the same SA still lost big. SA was beaten so badly in ODIs that it was not even a joke. SA commentators were shocked.

T20s are being played all over the world by including new players. just check Australia and england t-20 squads. completely new players and different from ODI and test match squads. you wont recognize more than 2 players. SA did the same but that doesn’t mean that they had weaker squads for test matches and for ODIs.

just my 2 cents. the fact is that indian cricket is on rise and managed this SA tour really well. that is all.

let me have a solution

Pak will be visiting south africa this year and a full tour has been awarded to them..3 test matches, 5 ODIs and 3 T20s. lets see how Pakistani team performs. if we also beat SA 4-1 in ODIs, 2-1 in T-20s and manage to win at least one test match, it will be confirmed that south african cricket is facing some serious deterioration as 2 sub continent teams would have beaten them back-to-back at their home convincingly, never happened before.

now if SA wins against pak in every format against convincingly then it would be a reflection that Indian cricket is doing great.

i think it is a fair suggestion…
