Yup as a nation we failed . Plenty of reasons , why , but bottom line is that we did fail . Now at this point in time I do see couple of us learning lesson from our failure , but majority , I don't think so . It will take sometime before it will sink in .

If you raise your hand to point out to someone with your finger.. three or your fingers and the thumbs points to you. Mend yourself, every other things will be better. Its a human characteristic, that we only like to complain for what we don't get, but we don't want to be Thankful to Allah for anything or everything He gave us. If anyone is healthy and wealthy but yet living under miserable condition, he or she better should be Thankful to Allah who gave him or her the health and wealth to survive. A time of crisis can be a time for examination for that person, now its the person who will respond to it.
Every one has to be responsible for their "own" deeds. Allah will not ask you for the deeds of your neighbors, your friends or your family. Every single person is responsible for the action they do and for the mistake they make.
In reference to Sialkot incident. Those who killed them and those who stood beside watching all this happening, indeed it was brutality and for the first time in my life it shook my mind so badly that I could get it off from my head for 4 days. But you people should also see the other part of it. That the boys who were killed are also from Silakot. I am not trying to let people know about the greatness of Sialkot or any tribe but I only meant that still there are people who are good at heart in Pakistan although "many" are worst now!
Further more I got the hands on the video when it first got released. I can get a lot more about it because my grandfather Village is a few Kilometer away from the village where it happened and from the house of the family, whose youngster got killed, and I think my grandfather do know this family as we have relative in that cast too. But why should I share more live videos? Why people like to see the brutality live and then further share it on facebook on on internet? Why cant people just think only by reading the NEWS that what happened, was the worst of its kind? If anyone say that we need to see to let our fellow national know the real happening in Pakistan, then what that person has done for the betterment of Pakistan?
People like Geo News and ARY News. Can anyone tell me whats the best news both of them ever told about Pakistan? I bet nothing. Is this our media who is creating the image of Pakistan by showing this all. Indeed hiding a news is not what I am asking BUT hiding the footage is what important to many.
I was checking about the incident of Blue Air when it happened.. Many people were complaining about the detail of the accident as Pakistani reporters were telling about it. eg: "Oh I just stepped on the flash of a dead person." Is Pakistani NEWS are so retarded. Gross] (One of the comment on tweeter that I can remember till today).
I just scrolled back and saw I wrote a lot but it will never matter to any, who just like to complain and don't act for themselves. If you want Pakistan better, act individually for it betterment and stop whining for the matter that you don't feel any sadness in your heart but you may want to use it for Pakistan bashing.
Sorry Pakistan for all that I may have done against you, and sorry if there was any mistake that I may have done unwillingly, which may have caused damage to your prestige. I had and I will try my best to act for your betterment, how so crucial the time may come for us.

I think we must also apologize to the thousands of shaheeds who sacrificed their life at the time of Independence. I hope their blood doesnt go to waste. I hope inshallah the nation will rise again. ^^ aaho, you have brought up a great point that yes although I agree the things that have been happening back home are unimaginable. However, our Pakistan Media makes it worst by going in that much detail about it. I don't know how many times they have aired that video. I am not saying that we should hide everything however, News should be reporting about what happened not advertising and repeating it. it desensitize people. I to this day don't have the courage to watch the footage. I am thinking about all the young kids that must be watching it and what would be going through their mind? Is this something okay in our culture. However, on the other hand the media is doing it because that's what people wants. They want to know the details.
Times like this we need to sit down and think about our actions and how it impacts the image of Pakistan.
This is not the time to say "I am ashamed to be pakistani" because then you are implying that every pakistani is like that. and we all know that there are many innocent people there just not the bad ones.

^ Tklucky. I wanted to write a bit further why I raised the issue of not sharing the video. One of my Pakistani friend's sister, who is around 17 years young and is a lot sensitive. She screamed while saying why people are not stopping it and cried a lot when she first saw it on News (Geo) as the family was watching regular news. Later in night she woke up twice and again the same situation of screaming and crying happened due to impact of this. Her mother and other family members are still in shock after watching that. This is one of the impact the Geo and other such blunderer NEWS channel want Pakistani people to see and later on get in mental or physical disorderliness.
@Chicken Biryani: Only if they somehow feel the pain of having something after struggle, only if they know how to achieve something when they are not spoon fed. Only then the can also think to give something rather than only demanding for more.
PS: If anyone thing I just made this story of the after effect of NEWS myself, then I just want to say that I prefer not to lie specially when I am fasting.

I have written a fury filled letter and gazillion emails to Geo ... I cant forgive them for the mental torment they have caused to the millions. I know from afar , the max i can do for my country is pray and try and ensure my voice is heard ... If you feel the fury , please write to them too ... they need to be told how they have affected the lives of many.
you know I also feel , that zulm hud si bar giya hai bi ... and that is getting shown via the media... had they shown it like any other news story, would anyone have bothered? Would anyone have felt the pain of the boys? Did anyone feel the pain of the lawyers that were burnt alive in Karachi a few months ago? no, no one was infuriated because to everyone it was jsut a story that didnt leave a mark on them.
I dont know , I am still in a state of immense confusion ... immense anger and unbelivable bichaini ...
