does neone know if it is possible to save messages from my sony ericcson somewhere in the computer? is there a software or somin?

Yes! The software suite that comes with Sony Ericsson phones allows you to do that.

Download the software from the SE site:

You may have to change the phone model.
All this came with the K750i that i bought. You need to install the software and then connect via either the cable (also came in the box) or bluetooth.

Which one do you have?

A friend of mine had the flip one and we worked around it
He sent all the messages to my nokia and then downloaded 'em to the computer.

There is always a way around it BIB

i have Sonyericsson K810i, im easily able to save msgs in my computer.

after installing the software, go to "My computer" and there u'll notice a new icon like "Browse phone". Try there.
Ofcourse the phone must be connected with pc via bluetooth but i recommend connecting via data cable.

nope... it is connected.. but i cant get the sms in the computer

BiB, go back to the basics, exactly what software did you install??

All phones come with two kinda softwares, did you install the one that lets you transfer your address book, messages and other stuff on the pc or did you just install the connection software?

I’ve had no problems with the joystick. That phone has been getting used for almost 8 months now.

You need to change the region to UK. Here’s the URL for ur beloved k800i:

PS: I just noticed that its the same software. i.e. Sony Ericsson PC Suite 2.10.38 (for Windows Vista/XP), for all the phones :slight_smile:

Sony Ericsson PC Suite 2.10.38 is what i downloaded… i cant find an option for saving messages in there :konfused:
