Show me evidence that those who commit adultery are more likely to commit rape. The 2 have no connection. You’ve connected dots that don’t exist to justify barbaric behavior. What looks good and makes sense in your head doesn’t play out in reality, in short you’ve been played by those who taught you.
Furthermore punishments proscribed by the Quran require evidence. The focus should be on the evidence not the punishment. Unless the prophet himself is providing the evidence of adultery it will be presented by man, who is tainted with error, bias, and prejudice thus the evidence required by the Quran to carry out such a punishment of flogging for the crime of adultery is rare.
