For those of you who thought England’s display against Pakistan was a fluke, what do you say now then eh?
My boys have played so unbelievably well this summer, they really have done their fans proud. England’s selectors have finally hit the jackpot, and have their 2 trophies from 10 games to prove it.
Winning Pakistan (a team that has played a lot more one day games than England) was a dream come true, but winning South Africa 3-1 is a dream in itself.
I think this is it - this is the year that will put England on the international cricket map. England are now a team to be feared. Special times lie ahead for England, and I’m glad I was there to witness it all.

Almost half of England’s team were also inexperienced, but they managed to play well, so your excuse for Pakistan’s abysmal performance doesn't really stand for much, does it?
No credit to England for beating Pakistan, they had fat bast*** Peter Willey as their 12th man, Pakistan was way better in comparsion to England in all departments.
Partial credit for the englishman beating South Africans, when you have tailor made pitches to only suit your bowlers, is a wrong thing to do.
I think Zimbabwe coach Marsh pointed that out in the begining of the series.
If these players would kick England’s arse, just imagine the damage they would do to Pakistan. Don’t do it Samby, don’t do it. Cricket is the only thing that the Pakistani public have to look forward to - don’t take this light away from them. I beg you.

They have'nt won the Cricket World Cup as far as I know and they love watching Wimbledon but an Englishman has'nt won since like 1890.

i think england beating pak was always on the cards why simply becoz our squad was naive and not used to the "bowler" friendly piyches produced by the english groundsmen, in the whole series more wickets fell then runs were scored and i think that says it all.
and now sadi sobi is saying bring on the aussies i think it would be safe to say that england's chances of beating australia are the same as tony blair's chances of marrying the current queen of england, and the odds aren't very strong in this position either.
so all in all, england cricket team are a bunch of losers who will never dominate world cricket, something pakistan cricket team has done in the past and will do so by the grace of god in the near future.

They just need to find some quality middle order batsmen really quickly, because Flintoff can't come in and save their asses every time there is a mini-collapse in the middle. First of all Geoff Marsh made that statement on 9th or 8th July before Zimbabwe’s final game and not in the beginning of the series as you would like us to believe. He also never said anything about Tailor made pitches. He just looking for excuse like you.
