:rotfl:
I am sure he is hiding his face some where now.
Yes… We will either win or draw the series. Unlike some other team who lost 3-0.
:rotfl:

Re: someone said this…

I can understand the elation of some supporters here, after all it is not their team wins abroad everyday. It is once in a 20 year event. Wonder what happens to the universe’s best batsmen abroad. so enjoy, it might not happen for another 20 years. :rotfl:

before enjoying the 3/0 drubbing another team received here compare the last few series played in England by these two teams and see who is :rotfl:

Re: someone said this…

Well…Actually if you look at fact, Indians have won more matches abroad last in last 4-5 years than Pakistan.

We won 1 test match in Australia and had a drawn series, which Pakistan can only dream off.

We drew series in England last time when we went there and this time again we are not gonna lose the series where as Pakistan lost 3-0.

In South Africa, We won a test match when we last visited there.
We won out last series in West Indies.

Here are some stats of away game(against Aus,Eng,WI,SA,NZL) for Pakistan since 2000.

Here are some stats of away game(against Aus,Eng,WI,SA,NZL) for India since 2000.

But all these is not that important in this thread. Important thing is that ‘that’ poster was questioning whethere India will even be able to draw the series and when I asked him to put his money where his mouth is, he ran away.

:tiranga:

Re: someone said this...

Oh! he was just teasing .Nothing serious.

Re: someone said this…

Blah, Blah blah.

When was the last time that India won a series in England? Can **anyone **remember. I asked you to compare the series against England in England, try doing that, I am not interested in your wins against Zimbabwe and BD.

Just to let you know, we won the 87, 92 and 96 series, drew the 2001 one and lost the last one. A record India can only dream about.

Re: someone said this…

Yes …I can .

In fact I remember it like yesterday.

The century by Vengsarkar at Lord’s and Headingley.
The 5-for by Roger Binny at Headingley.

Re: someone said this…

I knew you will come with ZIM and BD crap and that is the reason I removed them from my list. As I said, India’s last visits to SA, AUS,WI & ENG, India either won a test match or won the series.

We drew our last series in AUS. Your last was a 3-0 loss.

We won a test match in SA last time we went there. You did too.

Our last series in ENGLAND was a 1-1 draw and we are not going to lose this one either. Your last was 3-0 loss. :stuck_out_tongue: :rotfl:

We won our last series in WI and you lost it. Infect you are yet to win a series in WI. We have won 2 series.

Coming back to our series record in England. We have won 2 series in England(71 & 86) and you won three ( 87,92 & 96). But then we may end up equaling this record too in 2 weeks.

So, This claim that Indians do not win abroad is no longer valid. Yes our away record was pathetic untill 1990s. But since then we have done better than both SL and Pak(SL being the most pathetic).

Re: someone said this…

71 & 86 says it all. A mere 21 years since the last win.:rotfl:

Re: someone said this…

India vs Australia, was that the series where Australia was playing without Mcgrath and Warne. Khair never mind…

India vs England current series, England playing without Hoggard, Harmi and Flintoff, hmmmmm.. never mind.

Anyway since you are so desparate to compare Pakistan and India, so the best guage will be head to head. Since you are going all the way back to 1971, therefore lets start with 1971.

11 matches, Pakistan won 11 India won 6.

India won 2 series, one way back in late 70’s, Pakistan won 4 series, the latest one was last year.

Do you know when was the last time India beat Pakistan in India in a test series? I don’t remember, mein bhut choota tha. ehsan bhai aap bata dein.

And please dont even think about the ODI’s :omg:

You could have made your point by just discussing India’s position in the current series. Kyon khamokhoa may pangay laitay hay bhai Pakistan ko darmian may dal kar:hehe:

Re: someone said this...

but question is, how many would pak have won without vaseline, sodabottle caps, chucking, betting etc.

answer: zero.

just kidding pal. =)

Re: someone said this...

ok

Re: someone said this...

also add lozenges to that list ;)

Re: someone said this...

...and Dope.....and dancing on the pitch.

Re: someone said this…

:smack: Oh! again it started.

Re: someone said this…

dancing episode feautured England and even that match ended in a draw:mocking:

Re: someone said this…

Okay, okay so the pakistanis and the English are great friends:lifey: .When did this happen?

Re: someone said this...

Fair, you spoke too early. It's India. In the end, they end up embarrassing themselves.

Remember World Cup hype. '82 mein Pope mara...Itlay jeeta...wagera wagera :)

Re: someone said this…

Dude… Question here is not about India vs Pak head to head. There is no doubt that pakistan has better record and I will be first to admit it.
Point being discussed here is about India’s record outside subcontinent. Many Pakistanis keep raising this point that India’s record outside subcontinent is very bad. All I am saying is that Yes..It used to be bad. But in recent time , Indians have turned it around and they are infect doing better than Pak and SL. Dont you agree with it?
We won series in WI.
We draw last series in Eng and will win or draw this one.
We drew series in AUS.
We won a test match in SA.
Dont twist and bring some other records. Issue here is this… In recent time Who has better record in AUS, Eng, SA etc?

Re: someone said this…

Compare this to… 50 yrs and no win yet in West Indies. :rotfl:

Re: someone said this…

I can only admit one thing and for that you dont have to convince me. India no doubt has a better record against Australia in the last 6-7 years than any other team.

As far as record against SA goes, the record is comparable. Both India and Pakistan gave a tough time to Saffies earlier this year. Before that both the teams have defeated Saffies at home.

With England, Pakistan had a far better record than India until the 3-0 series defeat where Pakistan had a second string bowling attack. On the other hand this current series had England’s second string bowling attack. Just because Pakistan lose the last series 3-0 and India won the last test does not mean the India has now a better record against England as compared to Pakistan.

Chaloo aab phir say start kartay hain Pakistan india head to head :hehe:
