The DOOMSDAY signs posted were like a reminder for BELEIVERS and NOT for YOU or non-beleivers, so you didn’t have to challenge it in first place.

We are not supporting DOOMSDAY by Quran only, we have Christians and Jews who beleive in DOOMSDAY, now do what you can to change their beleif or claim

Just saw your post! You are so right!! That is what I have been telling all over this forum. Islamic prophecies are for Muslims only, they are not universal truth for everybody - like say, non-muslims.

Islamic Doomsday is for Muslims and Muslims only. I respect your beliefs. But you should understand that my belief, that one couldn't care less for the Islamic doomsday, should also be respected.

The sighs are reality of this earth and our life, it does not matter who you are. If you are on this earth then these are for you. There will always be disbelieves, some people just think inside a box that is passed on to them for generations. A Muslim should knowledgeable about all religions, it only makes you belief stronger.

so what if humans are gone one day they are like any other specis. world existed without any life form billions years. so relax tariq

So let us beleive in what we beleive, and you follow your beleif. We will not change our beleifs to make someone happy, if you decide to ignore and be happy then be happy. If you don't beleive in next life, then you don't have to worry at all and spoil your fun.

How does one understand where/what the hell is hell??

The reality of hell has three aspects one is that we can endure hell in this planet on the course of our daily affairs, whilst we are alive or we can endure hell as we depart ( being burnt while your soul is still present in your body (cremation), being locked up in a crypt or some other torment when the soul is still present within the body) and than after in the hereafter after the day of judgment too. ( Eternal hell)

Amongst the many religions which have scriptures as their foundation…hell has indeed been mentioned and warned against in them…as for those religions which are off shoot religions, they tend to remove the parts which mentions “hell”…. some even to the extant of removing God …thus we have varying scriptures and varying religions on this planet. Nevertheless hell is pretty well understood by most.

So let us look at hell as conveyed in the scriptures:-

**In Hinduism **.

The current Hindus do not believe there is a hell for them…..due to their misconceived notions and inability to understand what their scriptures reveal.

So let us examine what the Hindu scriptures reveal

Brhad-aranyaka Upanisad (Radhakrishnan), IV.4.8-9

**Into blind darkness enter they who worship ignorance… Those worlds covered with blind darkness are called joyless. (meaning hell) **To them after death go those people who have not knowledge, who are not awakened.

Commentary :-

A world of Darkness ( hell) is the place where souls that are ignorant will be sent to…. Ignorant of what? ..A question hindus must ask themselves…indeed this is a reference to ignorance of their Creator and not ignorance of how to live our life’s on this planet.

Let us read another verse

The Laws of Manu, 12:16-17

After the death of men who have done bad deeds, another solid body, designed to be tortured, is born out of the five elements. When (the living souls) here have suffered with that body the tortures given by Yama, (the bodies) dissolve, each part distributed into its own basic element.

Commentary: according to this verse the dead are brought back to life and than tortured…why would they be tortured??? Hence it has to be understood that man will be tortured on the basis of his actions and not all man will be tortured.

Let us venture further to find out the reasons for the (torture/world of darkness, a world without joy that man will be sent to after death) lets read

Gita: 7:23

“Men of small intelligence worship the demigods, and their fruits are limited and temporary. ** Those who worship the demigods go to the planets of the demigods (meaning : hell)**, but My devotees ultimately reach My planet.”

Yajur Veda 40:9.

"They are enveloped in darkness, in other words, are steeped in ignorance and sunk in the greatest depths of misery who worship the uncreated, eternal prakrti – the material cause of the world – in place of the All-pervading God, BUT THOSE WHO WORSHIP VISIBLE THINGS BORN OF THE PRAKRTI, such as the earth, trees, bodies (human and the like) in place of God are enveloped in still greater darkness, in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time." –

This is merely further confirmed in yet another verse:

Yajur Veda 32:3

**“The Formless Supreme Spirit that pervades the universe can have NO MATERIAL REPRESENTATION, LIKENESS OR IMAGE.” – **

Hence Hell is the destiny of those who worship the invented gods/idols and any thing that can be seen…even though this is the fact those who follow Hinduism/Buddhism are denying it today by confusing themselves with the karmic laws.

If you read biblical prophecies then you will find out same thing Like Quran,...Christians and Jews have the same Signs,..It depends who is interpreting it...In your case,..as you are disputing it,...you are not disputing one religion here,..actually you are disputing Jews and Christians relgion too.They have got the Holy Books too like us....Their original Books have the same details.

What Muslims beleive is that these signs apply to ALL OF UNIVERSE, non-beleivers (non-Muslims) are not required to beleive in the signs as they don't beleive in the Islam in first place, so whether or not you beleive in signs or Islam, EVERYBODY WILL GO THROUGH the Doomsday (This is what all Muslims are required to beleive).

Its upto you whether you beleive it or not, just like whether you accept Islam as religion or not, but its there.

What is not true for the entire universe,...?
As you are getting references from left and right,....you must and have to know the religion from A to Z before discussing it,...
Three top three religion of the world have same Signs in their original books as revealed to Moses,..Christ and our prophet Muhammad (SAW).
What we believe and take seriousley is our business,...In your case, you follow your own teachings and religion.
If looking for logical reasons etc,..then Explain GOD,...Taste of water,..pain,...Smell etc,..These things can be felt only,..no one can explain them with any given scientific reasons,...Therefore,.. here you are going to un-chartered waters .Its better for you to study in details any religion in question before jumping on the band wagon.

I thought there were only seven signs in christianity (ala movie). If not then my mistake.

In the greater scheme of things though, if those signs help you be a good person then all the best. I choose a different method.

Just because muslims belive something would happen for other doesn’t mean that it is true others would have to believe that.

The only proof for this stuff from Quran is Quran itself. What a joke?

Why should I believe something that says it is true? I need more prrof than that. As for Muslims beleving it, I have no problems, I consider them already sold to that gimmick.
