**Thought of Sharing Some Pictures of My Recent Trip To Saif ul Malook …We decided to go to Ansoo lake too But Only Reached Half Way and Came Back Cz We Were Lost :bummer:

First u have to reach Naran Kagan from ISB To Abbotabad then to Mansehra,Balakot,Kagan and Then Naran …U can use any bus service like Daeweoo till Mansehra and then hire ur own taxi till Naran Kagan
Then from Naran Kagan u can Hire a jeep which will take u to Lake Saif ul Malook in 1 hour

Now its upto you whether u want to stay there in camps or come back or even trek till Ansoo Lake

If u want to trek till Ansoo lake then plz make sure u have Trekking sticks and plz hire a guide else just like us u will be lost too

Well its a unique name and its situated at a a very high altitude and thats why i couldnt reach it :frowning:
It was formed when a DEv (JINN) cried for a fairy he was in love with …Thats what they say the locals

I've seen pics of Ansoo Lake and thought it was unapproachable wow thanks so much for the detailed reply. I'll figure this in my itinerary in the next vacay i take. Thanks again :D

ive always wanted to visit K2. But the road leading to it is dangerous. Its bang on the Pakistani-chinese border i think. correct me if im wrong
