7r+2=5r- 20

7r- 5r= -22
2r=-22
r=-11

recheck it with some one rite as iam only 7:LB:

Expand and simplfy (x+y) 2

it's (x+y)^2..

(x+y)^2 = (x+y) (x+y)

= x(x+y)+y(x+y)
=X^2 +xy+ yx+ y^2
=X^2+2xy+y^2

it's (x+y)^2..

(x+y)^2 = (x+y) (x+y)

= x(x+y)+y(x+y) =X^2 +xy+ yx+ y^2 =X^2+2xy+y^2
