As we can tell with the high popularity of Middle Eastern countries today, there is an awareness of the fact that oil will eventually become scarce (sooner than we think). When this happens, the question will be how we, people living in such an advanced society, will power our technological advancements (cars, heaters, electricity etc.). In order to be prepared for such a time, we need to start thinking of ideas NOW. (Actually, we should have done this a while ago…)
I, Phatima1, have come up with a genius plan to solve the world’s energy problems. The answer lies on the couch of just about every American home, in every McDonald’s restaurant, and at every bar in America…Fat people.
Potential energy is the key to the future source of energy. Fat people have more potential energy than an average human being. If you light a fat person on fire, they will give off enough energy to heat a medium- to large-sized room (the great amount of carbon really helps and, as you all know, fat is energy waiting to be burned - pardon the pun. :D)
It is rewarding to see that my brillance can be put to use to benefit mankind (excluding fat people).

Yea like buy a car that runs on corn! I think it’s a good idea, really.
But mine’s better. And what do you mean the idea is not true? It works! I’ve tried it! I’ve heated a can of water with the potential energy of a peanut!
It’s kinda gross, but the logic behind my idea is true. It can really work!
