As stated before, it was a silly comment by Sohail Tanvir. Not all hindus are fundamentalists. He should not have generalized.
What Sohail Tanveer said is unacceptable and the guy should be banned form the team.
Even the male host shoud be banned from TV for using derogatory remarks on a national programme

Thank you ehsan, the rest of you who are trying to come up with excuses for his behavior and comments please take a long hard look at yourself in the mirror, imagine what the reaction would have been if this had been an Indian player talking about Muslims.
You all are educated, widely traveled and exposed to different societies and culture and if despite all that you are backing up such clearly racist comments I really fear for humanity.
I already posted earlier what I thought of the comment at 4:20. No way he said "hinduon". The audio was cutting in and out.
The audio might be more clear if you upgrade from dial up to DSL/Cable ;)

Does it make it less offensive if he meant Indians instead of Hindus ? He did line up to play in "Indian" Premier League 3, and was employed by Indians in IPL1. This statement (whether it was Indians or Hindus) just shows what a two faced hypocrite he is.

Apparently, he has the right to say whatever the hell he wants to his 'ex-employer' who didn't have the decency to show respect to the best employee...instead they chose to humiliate the employee and expect him to turn the other cheek.

. Such feelings result from how a person has been brought up.
Anyhow, now that cat is out of the bag - Tanveer along with his team mates should be banned from IPL.

Ofcourse not. He was not smart enough to keep it to the dressing room like other players of both nations.
Tanveer should be banned or he should show his finger to IPL, they will all be playing together in IPL4...That's the irony of subcontinental controversies.

I have nothing against India or Indian people. It is not about deserving to play in INDIA. Its about deserving to play in IPL and I agree with you to the extent that Pakistani players do not 'deserve' to play in IPL and I sincerely hope they do not take part in the circus now or in future.

Lets cut him some slack. The guy is out of Pak team, and IPL was going to be his only income source in near future. I don't think he means what he said. Its about what goes in his oven at home.

It was very stupid on his part to play for IPL in the first place. And it was even more stupid on the part of PCB to allow Pakistani players taking part in indian PL.
