Every culture/language has harsh words and polite words. So how can we say choice of words and tone is effected by environment and culture ?
Do you mean to say Bengalis use good polite words and a soft tone all the time ? And Rajputs don't ?
Don't bengalis have harsh ,rude or curse words? Don't they get angry ? Are they polite all the time ?

environment means your upbringing and company / people you interact with. Like a person, living in a slum enjoying company of friends in street gets lot of tapori / bazari vocabulary as compared to person who is not part of such environment.
Some communities are considered warriors and some are not. What does this say?
I don't agree with your definition of soft-spoken ,so according to me, the questions you just asked aren't relevant to the topic of soft spoken.
The definition is not fixed.... Its different when we talk about individuals and when we talk about communities as a whole. I was just trying to know if there is an over perception about a community being softer (easy to mingle, less rude, etc) as compared to other community. For example: There is a perception (right or wrong) that Asian are more ba-murawwat than goras.

The softer which you are talking about here isn't soft spoken wala soft.
I think sikhs are considered more hospitable than others but not soft spoken.
.
Its natural n sometimes environment n culture also affects the person
Like Egyptian ppl, most of them usually talk loudly even if the words r soft n kind n usually meetha bolte wo but loudly
And Indonesians, mostly they talk softly even when they r fighting by using harsh words softly (km awaaz mein)
Wht abt ppl who deliver sentences too much quickly (nt loudly)
unko kehna prta hai bhai sb zra repeat krna :p
And there r those who talk v slowly (nt softly)
Unhein khud bhul jata hai start kidhr se hue thy :p

This is exactly what I was trying to explain to Muqa.
