Is sodomy more prevalent in muslim countries and if so why?
Sodomy is prevalent in those areas of the world where perverts live...and its a bent of mind..Mulla jee please do not single out this thing for muslim countries or else another row will start on this issue. Have mercy on the nation which already is paying heavily in the hands of exploits for no reason.

Sodom is the ancient city of Palestine destroyed by God for its wickedness (Gen 18:20,21)

Why are guppies so worked up about what adults do with their genitals ???
I don't think it's just guppies Tanhaa.
Most of the subjects in this section are ones that many think about but rarely voice due to social and cultural taboos.
Discussions are just that....nothing more. Unless, of course, the frustration is obvious in the posting.

In the General section I was discussing the misconceptions that desi guys have about men/women relationships. My analysis seems to apply to this topic also.
In analysis this behaviour pattern is due to the following reasons:
Islamic culture(and even Hindu culture) keeps the women totally hidden and in accessable to men for fear of sex without marriage.
There is no socially acceptable means of meetng and enjoying the company of the opposite sex even innocent and simple friend ship without chaperones.
Even within the bounds of marriage , Islam interjects its do's and dont's.
This results in great frustration and is expressed in all sorts of misconceptions about men and women relationships and often results in deviant sexual behaviour, of which Sodmy is one form.
Any comments??

I just indicated the probable causes of deviant sexual behaviour. I could be wrong. Lets discuss the subject.

Many complex factors contribute towards sexual development. At this point it appears that cultural, biologic and psychological factors contribute towards sexual orientation, but the exact etiology of such behaviour is uncertain. Islam condemns sodomy and prohibits pre-marital sex. You raise a good point about Islamic culture where access to social interaction with the opposite sex is limited but we know cultures around the world where interaction with the opposite sex is easy and yet sodomy is quite prevelant, even with the opposite sex.

Sodomy has been dubbed as 'alternative life-style', 'personal preference' etc and Islam and Muslims are considered intolerant and biased due to their continued opposition. Muslims argue that sodomy cannot produce children which is the main natural consequence of sexual relations. Mother nature did not make us that way.

When you come up with some intellectual argument, I'll give you my perspective. Right now stick to the subject if you know anything, otherwise go wash your car. Talking about sodomy and circumcision is like monkey in need of a clown for entertainment. And refering to yourself as "we", is another monkey entertainment.

I didn't know you were so uncomfortable with this subject. I had no intention of reminding you of your childhood but if I did, so be it.
