Its easy to say “oh its bad , its this ,its that.”
I just want to know have you ever spend some time thinking about it.
If one female in the family who is quiet ample woman, wants to “show” in extremely western style.
How could you still keep family like enviounmet intatct? How could your every other sentece would not be about inappropriate dress?
How?

I would disown her, cut off all ties with her if she refuses to change. However, nobody not even the parents have the right to take her life for it :nono:.

move to some less liberal country if you think the environment is the cause of your child's sleaziness....any sort of violence is totally out of the question.

I think kicking the girl out won't really solve any problems for anyone, and it doesn't really show that you're willing to resolve things or make the daughter understand how you feel, does it?
Kicking the girl out sometimes backfires, it pushes the girl further onto that path, I've heard several horror stories about what they've gotten up to but the main thing it, nobody's happy at the end of it.
What's wrong it just talking to your daughter about how she's upsetting you/doing wrong??

it would definitely be the last resort.....
.... i dont think any sensible person/parent would not talk or try other techniques to reform their trouble child and would simply kick her/him out of the house.

Disown her for wearing revealing clothes? Isn't that a bit OTT.. I can understand parents being upset by it but disowning is not proportional to the act imo..
It is perfectly possible to keep a family intact when one or more members are going thru certain issues.. There are such things as restraint, understanding and compromise.. The eldest girl in that family actually wanted to marry her boyfriend (and she did.. for 24 hours), why couldn't the family allow this to happen so things could be smoothed over or go into counselling??

If you kick your daughter out over something like this I'd think you're more concerned with 'pride' than having her best interests at heart.

yea…as they say… son daughter should get everything, always get support from parents no matter how fruited up they are, no matter what they get themselves into, no matter they treat parents like shizz, no matter kids dump the parents… parents are supposed to always be nice to the kids…or else…they are evil parents…

I am sorry to say..but it takes alot to disown someone. Especially if they are your flesh and blood. But in the case..if my daughter god forbid goes on total begrii hoye then i will make her understand. If she didn't listen..i would dicipline her in a good way. And use sakhti if i can. But i would never ever threaten or lock her up.

It's simple. Parents' house, parents' rules. If you don't like it, move out at 18. That said, parents don't have to be violent or over the top. Discussion with your child should be the first step. If they are bent on living a certain lifestyle, then tell them that you don't want that in your house. And this is coming from someone who is probably a lot more liberal than many people on these forums.
Every person has a different measure of what they consider to be out of line.
