I listened to the short version till 2 min 42 sec. That man was speaking like a lawyer. At one point, he stated I am very careful with my words. He spent the entire segment up to that point saying - no, I am not saying that at all. The lady was making every attempt to find out what he stood for.
He came across as arrogant and self congratulating in the sense that I am excellent with my choice of words and you will not be able to corner me.
The interviewer exposed him for what he is. But his fellow misogynists appear to be supportive of him in the comments section.

There was nothing at all cute about her. It cracks me up that there is “man” in her last name. I love irony like that. 
Her un-agreeableness may have been a factor in her climbing the ranks in her career, but it consists of dumb questions.
“What’s in it for women?” Umm…do you not want a mature, strong, competent man? And what part of “multi-varied” do you not understand? It means there are many factors at play; not that it all be boiled down to gender difference.
Yes, she does put words in the guest’s mouth. She’s annoying. And now I’m curious about the mosque fiasco; I’m going to look into that.

The guy is a scientist. A scientist who knows his statistics at that. Of course he is arrogant, to him his ideas are backed by numbers. The lady on the other hand studied English in college. I don’t think that qualifies her to talk about anything but Shakespeare. I’d much rather watch him debate another scientist from his field, them talking numbers. She doesn’t ask him about his research, the controls, the methodology or anything. She babble’s on about, is that fair, are you saying this, bla bla bla.
Also, I’d recommend watching the full video and not the shortened one. The shortened one provides no context. The guy sounds like an ass in the shortened version.

There are lots of scientist who also deny climate change. With numbers.
This guy is a troll who has an agenda.
As to your our statement that onky scientists should debate other scientists, that can and is done in conferences. Last I checked Ted Koppel, Rachel Maddow, Joy Reid, Chris Hayes are not scientists. And they do interview scientists on issues such as climate change.

O man, I have no patience left for Peterson.
I used to respect him so much as his student. He is one heck of an intelligent guy, but what he lacks is understanding of how oppression works. Since he came out publically riding on the backs of socially discriminated groups to make his point, I have lost all respect for him.
