But don't some people like to enjoy the feel of luxury when traveling from point A to point B? It's not like these cars are cheap. But step outside the box and many options open up.

I don't know. I'm just guessing here. I'm 23 and luxury is the last thing I think about when looking at a car. A working air-conditioner is luxury enough for me.

I think with most things people don't like changes even though they would enjoy the change. So, I guess desi's are used to the toyatos and hondas and don't step outside the box.
