Define "chivalry" and "equal rights"? I would have thought these terms were not gender restricted (i.e. to women), if we apply these to women then it's a man-made decision.

Chivalry is dead, and you womenfolk have killed it. It was killed the day feminazis claimed women are as good as men, can do everything a man can, should make as much as a man does, and should have equal rights. If you claim you are as good as men, then honey you can carry that heavy bag of groceries yourself, you can stand in the bus, open the doors yourself, change tires, jump start a car, mow lawns, fix plumbing.
In the olden days the whole idea of chivalry was based on women being the fairer more delicate sex, one which cannot do stuff an average man can. Women were spared in wars, lol, if you had feminists back then, they would have deleted you up big time eh? So once you refuted the idea of women being inferior to men, you killed chivalry.
It is funny how the feminists never talk about other stuff, like the fire exit procedure, why do women get to leave a burning building first? Are they more flammable than men? Why do they get to leave a sinking ship first? They want equal rights, so in such cases it should be survival of the fittest, right Sehrysh?

Chivalry is basically courtesy. Why can't there be both? I don't see one as being dependent upon the other.

Isn't chivalry about giving special attention to someone, which goes against equality? I mean why should a man pay on a first date or always get you flowers, not the other way around, if we are "equal"?
