I thought courtesy is good manners. So if I say I am not chivalrous, then I should let the door slam on the face of the woman who is coming behind me? :D
I don't care if the person behind me is male, female, child, teenager, elderly, etc. I try my best to remember to hold the door open for them. If you look up the definition of the word chivalry, it refers to a wide range of qualities that a knight was supposed to have..one of them being courtesy. Knights don't exist anymore....should courtesy cease as well?

I find it highly stupid when women or men, though usually its the women, who complain about not being treated same as the other sex. Well we r not same so its doesn't make sense to be wanting to be able to do same things or being treated same way. Yes, by all means neither is deserving of more priviledges or respect but its just cant be same for both cuz of the different dynamics.
