i think you're right about why people might prefer the natural look. but i don't think putting makeup on is changing the creation of God.
yeaaa!..."changing the creation of god"..i think it means plastic surgeries and not makeup..
after all our Prophet SAW used surma...and surma makes your eyes look beautiful...so i dont think he "changed the creation of God" by using surma... :)
Re: so what do guys mean when they say they prefer their gf/wives natural
It's true. My fiance hates makeup. He has always prefered me natural, without makeup, so now I usually don't bother wasting my time to put any on (I'm pretty lazy so it works out for me).
The ONLY time I wear makeup is when I go to parties, weddings and maybe if I'm going out on the town.

My hubby likes natural too. Greasy lipstick isnt pleasant. Running fingers thru hair thats all sticky with hairspray isnt fun. Stiff, sharp eyelashes, face paint that comes off onto clothes. These things may look attractive on special occasions but they arent fun to deal with on a personal level or for day-to-day activities.

exactly! and on religious television programs, i see so many ultra religious ladies who wear hijab and they have TONS of makeup on. if it were gunnah, i think they'd know.
