I purchased a few tops that were not even maternity clothes, they were just larger than a normal size I would wear. Don't waste too much money on mat clothes. You grow out of them way too fast. Towards the end, I was STILL GROWING, so nothing even fit me. There was one point where I could not stand having anything touch my stomach at all ....
My mother had some suits that she made out of sarees that they sewed too large in Pakistan, so I just wore those pretty much throughout. I did buy some maternity clothes, but only 2 pairs of pants and maybe 4 tops.
I wore a saree to a wedding and just styled it different so that the paloo hung over the front instead of the back, sort of like Gujrati style. But I never went out and purchased a new saree. I just worked with whatever I already had.
