I am getting married in 3 months, and I am so nervous and scared. Before when all the planning started I was so excited and happy. But now I just feel nervous all the time, and scared aswell. Why? How can I go back to being excited?

Sometimes it is natural to have cold feet before wedding , sometimes there are some underlying reasons. For the first reason , just keep yourself busy and keep yourself occupied with positive thoughts about your new life after the marriage. For the second reason you need to look deep down to find out the real reason and take remedial actions.

Its the unknown thats getting you nervous and all, has ^ he said its probably the common pre wedding jitters, (CPWJ) there's a clinic out their for people in your current situation that can help.

^ LOL! thanks guys! There arent any underlying issues. I have thought about this marriage, and done duas and istikharas, and everything. So Im sure about the person that Im marrying. I think its the situation that we are in - my fiance has a new job, and is starting out new in a country where we dont know too many people. I am going to be far from my parents and family for the first time in my life (and its the same for him as well, cause his parents live in the same place my parents do), but he has lived away from his parents for the last 6 years cause of school and work. And Im also nervous about all the responsibilites that come with marriage. Now, I work, and when I come home, food is already cooked (my mom cooks), house is clean (my mom again), my laundry is done for me, I dont have to do anything. And when I move, I wont be able to work cause of the visa issues, so finances are going to be tight for a while, until we actually settle in, and thats not something Im used to. There is so much changing so fast, and its making me nervous.

You know change are a part of life. Sometimes its big and sometimes not so big and you just hope for the best and prepare for the worst and you shoudl have fun

Who told you that with marriage come the responsibilities ? There is no responsibility on you , he will have all the responsibilities. Also train him from day one to cook , clean , laundry etc otherwise you will be in great trouble. Ask the secrets of training your husband here in these forums and you will get lots of practical advice from pros of life1.

sorry. As per UN charter, endangered species are for whole world to enjoy. so if you are a bit possessive, i'd not recommend that.

whereas i am getting married in feb and still no tension
