Re: So how many of you have really felt love, true love?
haha no...not if you weren't good. Just kidding! :)
hmm I don't think I've experienced true love how some of you are describing it, the whole fireworks etc
but who knows, love means something different to everybody.
bottom line....** mutual like, respect, and ability to care/look out for the person** = love (imo)
some theoretical terms which sounds GREAT .. .. but its way hard to expect all of these things in real from someone .. :) .. and all this respect, care fades away with passage of time .. say 3-4 years of relation when each of them take each other as "For granted" .. ..
mutual like - Strongly against it .. I don't expect someone to like exactly same thing that i like .. my life would be so boring .. .. I need someone all the way from opposite mentality .. .. new exposures new way of thinking

I have been in this kind of love Edal until his parents(my saas suser)showed up. Our love could go on too but we got married and now it is all about 'MERE MAA BAAP KI IZZAT'.

Re: So how many of you have really felt love, true love?
Most of the times problem between lovers is due to relatives or close family members (not to mention the curses they do)....
We should learn from animals out in the wild....when they make pairs they forget others and live their own life and raise kids.... They have purest form of life.
I am not saying that you forget parents and relations, just do not let them influence your personal lives. Women should be more understanding and not listen to rumors....etc.

But what should a woman do if her man gets obsessed and overly sensitive about his parent's respect? When a girl has been respecting her own parents throughout her life why would she even think of humiliating someone else's parents? the issue here is true love should not be mingled up with a guy or a girl's extended families. I have seen very hard times with my 'true love' because of this so please everyone should keep parents/sisters/brothers away from their true love. Edal feels so beautiful at this time and it can go on too but only until one of the members from his family comes to know about this love. I pray the span is longer.

Man I am so with you on that. Imagine how pure and beautiful life would be if you could just drop the anchor right where you were standing and clean your privates while sunbathing. And whats with this whole matchmaking and involving the families business? A woman looks nice, smells nice, and BAM the next thing she knows you are riding her.
Re: So how many of you have really felt love, true love?
I think the only pure love that I have felt so far is after my daughter was born. Ever since her birth I feel me and hubby have given parts of our heart to her.. In my case I have felt true love with her when she comes to me for comfort and love :)

When a husband hurts wife, if the MIL/FIL are wise they can cool things down in 5 min. Wife wants love and support through words. Yes, it is the husband who is much egoistic and abusing. My parents were always very kind and loving to my Bhabhi. She worked for them like a servant by her own choice. Even now she can't stay a single day without them. Uska dil nahi lagta. And people used to say, yeh bhai kay bachay nahi bulkay dada abu kay hain. Being the only dewar, I ate food cooked by her hands for 16 long years. I can't forget that.
