Happens after every 5 years or so! I remember the first snowfall in 1986, and then there was one about 4-5 years ago and I heard it snowed again yesterday!!!
Anyone in Islamabad who took pictures?
p.s. can anyone shed some more light into the introduction of certain types of coniferous by the Govt which were planted in the 80s, that would have caused regular snowfall every year, but ended up being the source of pollen allergies which became out of control to the extent that they cut down all those trees…

i have heard..in Burewala...(city of Waqar Younas).....red storm came...which blew up....electric poles...to 100's of feet.....and broke the iron gates of houses....
2 years ago..such red storm came in Gujranwala.....people say...that..in red storm..actually..Jinnats...swing..which destroy everything....
even in Lahore....there was rim jhim rim jhim..at around 1:30 am....with fast wind...and no chilling .....but after that....heavy rain started...
and i wished so much at that time...around 2:30 am..to have long walk..in such heavy rain...but i could not dare step outward....bijli bari chamak rahee thee...:(
