Inspi, its actually your subscious mind stopping you to smile back at guys since you know that you are looking to get married and you have permission from your parents to look out for potential mate. You will continue to feel uncomfortable with guys who seem to be a good match to you. You might find no problem with smiling back and making friends with guys from other religion and nationalities since you won’t consider them as potential mates.

Just stop thinking about your hidden aim of finding a suitable mate while you are out and just be yourself. And I know, you ARE a very very friendly person. So just be a good person which you already are and live your life without anything in your mind about finding a suitable person. If you are destined to meet your soulmate accidentally you will end up meeting him somehow. Stop consciously looking for someone with this objective in your mind.
