If a girl is a virgin that means she hasn’t had sex. If you go to the gynecologist you are still a virgin unless you are having sex with him!
The reason I can see many paki parents not wanting their virgin/unmarried daughters going there is because the pap smear and pelvic exams may break the hymen. It isn’t necessary that it will break the hymen. But the hymen can break from other things instead of vaginal intercourse. Therefore, parents shouldn’t be concerned of a girl’s hymen breaking as a result of some medical exams specially when it’s her health they should be concerned with.
