Havnet had the pleasure of experiencing that yet.
But I've heard that it can be treated by over the counter drugs. So haleluja
minah I know, I've gritted my teeth twice during two deliveries. Thats how conscious I am bout people viewing me down there.

it might have been thrush although they wouldn't tell me what it was. They just said "honey, its bacterial, dont worry"
And they made me buy some perscription med. Unless they didn't know what they were talking about, which is likely.

Its more embarrassing if you get it done by someone you know...definately go for a doctor that you won't see much often :)

Gotta be thrush, its when the bacteria of the vaginal area arent happy. Ppl think its cause of poor hygiene but its usually because of stress and the everyday soap and vaginal deodrants. Also swimming is a major cause as the chlorine in the pool doesnt really do wonders.

Wutsup with the 18+ deal? I thought it's only for women who've actually had intercourse or do have intercourse on a regular basis?

Last time I checked, I thought it was mainly for women who are sexually active (ie. intercourse).

no having sex doesnt have anything to do with cervical cancer. Its 18+ and or if you have had sex.

hehehe aRay, I dont think there is any woman here who doesnt fear the process.
I'd rather have my entire bateesi pulled out by a dentist minus the numbing injections than have a pap smear.

its not that bad, go to a lady/female doctor and get it over with. Or better go to your usual doctor, no need to change doctors and go to an unknown doctor for a test, what I know it should be done regulary at least once in 6 months.

iv treated thrush with OTC products.. once i start having sex willy nilly.. ill be so used to having my stuff on display that I wont bother about a smear - LOL!

I thought a smear would be one of the most grossest things done to me…until I had an internal when I was pregnant by this f`in student midwife, eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyak. :yukh: You aint felt nowt yet Mem.
But just pray you may not have to go through one, but if you do you will never be embarrassed about anything like this cuz all your dignity just went down the toilet.
