I was just wondering - well excluding the religious factor but is it very modern and to hard to handle for people if “Pakistani” women wear sleeveless clothes? as far as i know sleeveless with Capri’s is the limit for modern women who call them selves average when it comes to fashion … women who wont wear tube tops, or skirts shorts etc … whats your take on this?
because it bothers me when i hear some JAHIL aunties who think their own daughters are all that even when they don’t know what they do behind their backs but consider other girls as W***** just because they wear sleeveless kameez or tops ;S and such girls are considered as ultra modern whatever that is like are they blind or so dumb that they dont notice what is actually considered to be the real fashion now a days sleeveless is nothing compared to that…

Haha I have your full quote up here but just wanted to say I agree with you. My cousins and I living in America would never dress UnIslamic because we were bought up that way and will stay that way no matter how much we go out with our friends but some of us choose to dress modern,nothing “haraam”(sleevless,see through,etc). I know this one auntie who thought I was very proper because I wore salwar kameez whenever she came over and once she came over and I was wearing jeans and a short shirt but long sleeves. in my mind this was proper because it wasnt sleevless/see through/etc. She gave me her opinion how she didn’t like what I was wearing b/c it was way too modern while she didn’t know but her daughter wore much much worse (tube tops/sleevless/tank tops etc) behind her Mothers back! That auntie should talk! But MashAllah se the mosque I belong to has modest teens who can dress halal but with style.
