I remember when I drank a green smoothie everyday (sometimes at breakfast) a couple of colleagues remarked that my skin looked glowy and hair appeared healthier...and this was only after maybe 2-3 weeks. I'm trying to get back into the routine. Cut back on the coffee and add more greens to your diet.
In a blender, toss a handful of spinach, a carrot, any fruit of your choice, a small splash of juice...and blend. It tastes like a fruit drink. This is because greens have a mild taste, so the taste/flavor comes from the fruit.
These days I'm doing spinach, beet root, apple, carrot, lemon juice, a bit if water.....and blend. Beetroot expends your blood vessels allowing for greater blood circulation which benefits your hair and skin and overall health. Plus, when you consume your veggies in liquid form, the nutrients are absorbed faster. Try yo get organic veggies and fruits.
In terms of beauty masks.......mixing besan with a bit of yogurt and haldi and lemon juice into a face mask and washing off when it dries provides a glow. You can even get raw honey and wash your fave with that...it will keep breakouts and bay and skin smooth and glowy.
I agree with you....I don't even like the idea of any kind foundation on my face....no matter how light...much less having to scrub it off. I am trying to work on my diet and sleep (:( ) ..so that I don't have to use much makeup.
Here are my tips on things which will help with your skin:
1) Start exercising regularly. When I hit the gym hard several times/week, my skin looks more fresh/glowy. Plus working out will help you deal with wedding stress, give you more energy, and get you in better shape physically.
2) Try to increase your intake of fruits/veggies as much as possible.
4) Get a glycolic based face cream to use 3-4/week. The cream should have between 10%-15% glycolic acid.
5) Did you mean to write above that you use a light scrub on your skin every night? If so it sounds too harsh. No need to use a scrub every-single-day.
6) Do a search on this forum OR on the internet for "oil cleansing method" or "OCM". This is better/less harsh on your skin than using face wash.

Hmm. You have to keep experimenting with combinations until you find one that suits you. You could even try just your favorite orange juice and a handful of spinach, see how that goes. You may need to add more water to thin it out. But if you're totally out off, then you can consume your fruits n veggies in other ways.
i like the exercise idea but im a very skinny person and currently trying to put on weight....any recomandation to exercise without shedding weight?

Use the scrub once a week.
I'm very skinny too. I'd say do stuff with heavy weights so you build some muscle/get curves. Exercise isn't always about losing weight......a major part of it is being healthy (ie. skinny doesn't always equal being "in shape").
Eat healthy and balanced meals increase your uptake of fruit and vegetables. I started taking hair, nails and skin vitamins. Also I increased the amount of sea food in my diet. Drink more water, green tea and exercise. Whatever skin care regime you start just remember to follow through with it. I would recommend a couple sessions of microdermabraision it really leaves the skin feeling soft.
Personally I suffer from a lot of acne so I went to the Doctor and started using Retinin A which has really really helped my skin.
I was so bad i didnt follow a regime in the year between my engagement and wedding i had 3 facials. I drink plenty of water but mashallah my skin is really clear and i didnt have to worry much.
I do wish i could find a way to do a regime now to stop my under eyes going darker any tips?
I didn't have a strict regime but I started drinking warm water with lemon every morning empty stomach and that really cleared my zits etc.
Also, I regularly, for the month leading up to the wedding, drank fresh carrot + apple juice. Drinking carrot juice regularly makes my skin glow but since I don't like the taste of just carrot juice, I mixed it with apples.

Drink lots of water(atleast 6glasses)....include fruits veggies and nuts in your diet...and exercise.....cleanse/tone and moisturize skin twice a day(morning and night)....scrub your face once a week....maybe scrubbing everyday and not moisturizing are the
reasons for your skin problems?
Follow this routine...inshaAllah you wont need to use a bb cream then....
