in a way, a very good way, slavery still does exist. A black man will never be elected for presidential status over a white man. Maybe this is a bad comparison for light vs. dark, but it still stands; we think white is more intelligent than black, just like white is more beautiful than black. The issue is slowly diminishing, just like the slavery issue but will never completely go away, it'll always always ALWAYS be there..mark my words.
