Such a tedious process this seems but what steps are to be followed anyway? Does the sunscreen go first or the moisturiser? If I were to wear foundation when is that applied? How much darn stuff are u supposed to put on your poor face? Aren;t sunscreens moist anyway? do u really need to use a moisturiser if u wear a sunscreen thats creamy anyway?

can you apply toner/astringent, then top it up with moisturizer? would one thing negate the other one?
what layers of face are allowed, and in what order?

i dont think u need moisturizer if u use sunscreen. best thing is to use a moisturizer with a sunscreen in it i guess. and foundation comes after moisturizer.

I got this sunscreen from skin effects cos it didn;t give me that greyish look that neutrogena does. It doesn't say its a moisturiser so am not sure. Does feel like one though!

i have found that a paperbag is the best layer yaar. sunscreen+excellent coverage in one. covers the hijab issue too.

Cleanse with a gentle cleanser morning and night. Do not rub ur face when wiping with a towel, pat it fry. Tone After that and follow with a moisturiser which should have spf 48 for day and something to fix ur skin problems for night.
Every week, deep cleanse, mask and steam. Donèt forget to exfoliate
Go for facials every six weeks and drink as mush fluid as you can. Donèt touch ur face at all. Use a home microdermabrasion kit one every 8 weeks. Take vitam C tablets every day also and eat grilled fish or take omega 3 supplements also. Every morning, instead of chai, drink hot water with lemon in it. See the results.
By the way, use acne treatments as needed. Remember that it takes six weeks for full resluts to show!

most moisturizers have SPF (sunscreen)...apply that, and then put on foundation on top of htat (again there are foundations that have a bit of SPF).. now for a great 3 in 1 product, u can get one of those tinted moisturizers with SPF...theyr'e a time saver and offer sheerer coverage than separate foundation and moisturizer w/SPF..i think u just put on enough for ur whole face..dont' slather it, just do wat u normally do wtih regular moisturizer

soley, if ur skin si fine, then jsut do wat u doing..remember, if it ain't broke, dun fix it ;)
What I normally do...at night, i take off my eye makeup with vaseline.. wash my face...put on toner...and then moisturize... i use the clinique 3-step system, i use all three of those products. In the morning, i do the toner/moisturizer, but I dont wash my face, i just splash on cold water to wake me up. Once a week, I'll use those biore nose strips.

The stupid sunscreen I bought made my skin break out. Im sure it must have been because of that cos there is nothing out of the ordinary that I applied or consumed to have caused the acne 
So I stopped using the sun screen. Maybe i’ll try a moisturiser with sunscreen in it, I really don;t care for foundation so I won;t worry about that. But that is so true, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it-too late now I guess.

hmm my cousin recently started using a lotion with sunscreen and she claimed that broke her out too. I guess you're allergic to an ingredient in there.
Have you tried the skin-calming moisturizer by aveeno? its an oil-free moisturizer for sensitive skin and has sun protection in it as well. not greasy at all.

First of all it is regimen not regiment unless you are talking about Pervaiz Musharraf's skin. Secondly no woman should make the paper bag joke. Thirdly, to answer your question, it should be the following order
cleanser
soap (preferably liquid)
moisturiser
toner
sunblock
finally, it is a sad day, for Pakistani men, when a man has to tell Pakistani women how to take care of their skin.

- Cleanser does for us what soap does for you, its one or the other,
- then its toner to remove any traces of cleanser one may have left unwashed and for soap users like yourself please be liberal with the toner.
