I didn't know we were having a competition. I wasn't trying to win anything :)
My point simply being, Jihad can also cause pain to family but does that mean we throw it out of Islam? Death is going to come to you, sooner or later. Nobody is going to live forever. Dying later on in life is not going to prevent the pain that will be caused to your loved ones.
Every soul must taste of death and We try you by evil and good by way of probation; and to Us you shall be brought back. [21: 34]

i know death will some at a certain point... but does this give us a reason to run thru red signals? Allah SWT has given us aqqal to use...
