Re: Sister fights off robber

You go Sista :dhimpak:

Re: Sister fights off robber

I guess the robber cared for her...he could have shot her dead.....but he didn't kill the woman.....

Lucky Sister.....its not her courage that saved her life....but the reluctancy of the robber to kill her.
What do u think?

Re: Sister fights off robber

I guess robber was a "brother" thats sister is still alive.
Brave sister though.

Re: Sister fights off robber

:dhimpak:

Re: Sister fights off robber

^yeah, sister power.

Re: Sister fights off robber

nope, i meant standing against evil (bravery) :dhimpak:

Re: Sister fights off robber

Yeah, some kallu comes in to try to steal someone’s money and threaten their life, and in the end, he’s still a good guy, vaa be vaa…even if a Muslim trise to defend themselves, they’re the big bad guys. :pagli:
Stupid laug. :pagli:

Re: Sister fights off robber

i guess she wasn’t worth the bullet…simple as that…:halo:

Re: Sister fights off robber

yeah she should thank the robber for sparing her life and invite him to come back again to rob the store and bush should reward the robber for showing humanity towards her. :k:

Re: Sister fights off robber

but really, its silly that she risked her life to protect some property/ money... would it have been worth had she been, Gor Forbid, shot?

Re: Sister fights off robber

It's not silly. If a person has the courage to protect his/her things, that's not silly. If I am not wrong, then there are many ahadith where the Prophet (S.A.W) said that a believer who dies (is killed) while protecting his property and/or family will be a Shaheed insha'Allah.

WaAllah ho Alam.

Re: Sister fights off robber

Its silly the guy could have shot her..its not courage its stupidity.....I dont recommend anybody to fight a guy armed with a Gun by charging him with a hatchet.
I still say " The robber was kind and he didn't pull the trigger"
Hats off for the kind hearted robber

Re: Sister fights off robber

nope its not silly at all.

explanation:

first their is a 50-50 chances that the gun is real+ loaded, or gun is fake but loaded (with pathakay or water). cuz chor normally are chor not Qa’tilz.

second, lets assume gun is real n loaded then there is risk involved in both the cases whether she defies it or not. (as goli for not giving the maal, or goli though the maal is given but then she saw the choor)

hence, murna he hai to kuch dara he q na lay bunda. :cb:

Re: Sister fights off robber

^ Uh if he was so kind hearted then why the hell did he go into a store with a gun wiht intent to steal??? He wasn't kind hearted he was scared sh*tless!

Re: Sister fights off robber

yup, Iv'e heard of similar hadith... but that doens't mean u go out of your way to protect stuff that can be replaced, human life cant be replaced.

I mean, yeh aurat, kishi ki beti, maa, behen, biwi ho sak ti hai... so many ppl could have suffered the loss of a loved simply for the reason that she was trying to protect the $200 in the cash register!

Re: Sister fights off robber

So protecting your things is stupidity? Interesting, because the last time I checked, it was known as courage and having the courage to protect your things. You and I or others could argue like this on and on about what is courage and what is stupidity, but the fact will remain there. It is not stupid to protect your own things.

Re: Sister fights off robber

Sara516- well u r talking about potential possibilties. so mam there is no such thing is impossible.

he is not kind hearted, he is majboor. n if he is not magboor then he wouldnt have come there.

he actually wasnt expecting any such thing from that gal, n the kind of thing associated with muslims these days. chor to phir chor hota hai. :smack:

Re: Sister fights off robber

Nope, the ahadith remain there. They are not going to change. The ahadith clearly mention the result of protecting your things and it does not say that protecting your things was going out of your (atleast it should not be in a muslim's life).

The same thing can be applied to Jihad. The Prophet and the Sahabas could've sat home or in a corner of the masjid doing 'Allah Allah.' They went "out of their way" nevertheless and fought knowing that some of them may face death also.
