Suroor you sound like my mother, she has a similar saying about the bond of nikkah being so powerful that Allah himself creates love when two people get nikkaed.
Frauds - Yes that has been my experience. I havent tried it myself but I know of several girls/women who when they started thinking about marriage started with the most unrealistic expectations I simply told them, none of my friends would be their kinds. Two years down the road their expectations were way more realistic and in line with whats is achieveable.
