Gandhara Civilization was present in Northern Pakistan and the areas of Afghanistan adjoining it. Taxila, Swat, Peshawar and Charsadda being the main centers of the civilization.

Severage is being added to the rivers, the government should try to stop this from happening as we are destroying the rivers.

May be, any thing east of hindukush can be found in Hindu geogaphy

In kanpur we even add leather waste to ganga :smiley:

Because of the waste materials being added to water, which isn't properly processed before being use for vegitation or human consumption there is an increase in hepatitis cases in recent times.

I think that the love for where you live is a natiral thing. The other day I was watching a program of Hamid Mir on Khuzdar. He showed some Hindu families there and they were saying that they are very happy there and no one is bothering them.

aapko patta hay, how muslims consider Makkah and Madinah. If we equate where ever we live with those places "fatwa" lagwa kay fry ho jaen gay.

Hinduism is a different religion, although they also have religious places but they have more love for their land as compared to us.

In Pakistan if you ask people, they will say I am a muslim first and then Pakistani. :@:

For hindus it is easy their religion is grounded to soil while for abhramics same is not true :) hence a little difficult

longing is another thing but when ever a comparison will be made no one would say that say Lahore is better than Makkah or Madinah, maybe thats how we have been raised.

I mean attachment and commitment to your land is natural thing and any faith requiring otherwise may not be natural. It would be imposed.
