**Chicken Tikka Short Cut Recipe **

Ok Guys .. here is the easiest Chicken Tikka recipe … I dont have enough space at home to BBQ the tikka’s and wait for all that time and turn and toss them etc … so I worked out this recipe and i think its delicious , but do let me know of your thoughts :

In a blender add a chopped onion, one teaspoon ginger paste, one teaspoon garlic paste, one teaspoon salt, half a teaspoon red chilli powder, one teaspoon of tandoori chicken shan masala ( optional ) , two green chillies , some dhaniya , one cup yoghurt … and blend it all to a fine , fine paste …

Preheat the over for 3 minutes , in the oven dish , add the paste to the boneless chicken pieces , mix it all well and put it in the oven on low-medium heat … and let it be for 20 minutes … occasionally stir it to change the chicken sides …

TIP : ensure the oven is on the low-medium heat , coz the only purpose of doing the oven bit is for the chicken to get that tikka texture , if the heat is medium or high , the tikka’s will get too dry and loose their juiciness …

after about 20-25 minutes , take out the tikkas ( it should still be watery coz of the yoghurt and the onion paste ) … shift it all in a pot on the stove and stir it on high heat so the water will evaporate …

In the meantime put a coal on the stove flame …

once the tikka’s look dryly coated with the thick mixture , you can add a bit of yellow food color ( optional) … put the highly burning coal in a cup and place it in the middle of the pot, pour some oil on top of the coal and quickly cover the pot and let it be … put off the flame and dont uncover the pot for the next 20 minutes …

your tikka’s are ready … let me know guys if this recipe works for you … your feedback will help me understand if others will like the tikka’s made this way ..:omg:
